BUSINESS BRIEF: Llewelyn Davies appointed to lead regeneration study

Consulting firm Llewelyn Davies has been appointed to lead a regeneration study for a 518ha site in the Craigmillar area of south-east Edinburgh. The urban design framework study will develop agreed outline plans for more than 3,000 homes, four schools with leisure and sports facilities, a supermarket and parkland. The study will be carried out for the Craigmillar Joint Venture Company, a public-private venture comprising the EDI Group and Edinburgh City Council. It is expected to take six months to complete.
