Entec, together with Asken, has been commissioned by High Peak Borough Council to carry out the Peak Forest Tramway feasibility study, covering a 10km route from Buxworth to Dove Holes in Derbyshire. The project will assess the possibility of reinstating the tramway for use by pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders. It will examine land ownership, engineering feasibility, highway crossings, sustainability initiatives and the environmental impact of the scheme.
