NEWS IN BRIEF: Brighton and Hove City Council has produced planning ...

Brighton and Hove City Council has produced planning guidance for tall buildings in the city. The strategic study, carried out by consultancy Gillespies, looks at the ability of the city to absorb taller development without harming its historic environment. The document examines where such development could be built and provides a checklist of planning and design criteria. The areas adjoining Brighton and Hove Stations and Shoreham Harbour may present opportunities for tall buildings, it says.
