A £500,000 scheme to involve artists in planning and urban design has been launched by the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment and Arts and Business. The two-year grant is designed to fund artists' work for public and private sector groups on projects related to the built environment. Cash will be used to bolster the role of artists in housing market renewal, regeneration, planning and masterplanning. The fund will be officially launched in May.
