Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority granted final planning approval for the Bluestone holiday village project last week. The scheme, near Narberth, includes 340 timber lodges, a water-based theme park, a sports park and a snow centre. Bluestone Holdings and McAlpine Capital Projects are promoting the project, with RPS as consultant. The Welsh Assembly Government has already signalled that it will not call in the proposal (Planning, 23 January, p3).
