Foster and Partners to spearhead development

Architects Foster and Partners will spearhead an office, hotel and commercial development around a civic square in the centre of Hastings, East Sussex, as part of the town's regeneration. The site is next to the sea front and at the foot of cliffs below Hastings Castle. The Hastings and Bexhill task force, which selected the firm, was set up in 2001 by the South East England Development Agency and has a £38 million budget.
