Loss of light to Glasgow school of art from adjoining redevelopment would affect its amenity

Redevelopment of a former cinema to student accommodation in a Glasgow city centre conservation area was refused for its adverse harm to the setting of, and loss of light into, the internationally recognized Mackintosh building of the school of art and harm to other nearby heritage assets, despite a lack of a clear objection from Historic Environment Scotland.
