Ten detached houses to replace a 1970s monastery building in open countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Gloucestershire were refused for harm to the open countryside, AONB landscape and setting of a heritage asset with insufficient public benefits to justify a decision other than in accordance with the development plan.
