Last chance to take part in this year's Planning Consultancy Survey

Consultancy firms with a UK base now have until this evening (4 October) to take part in Planning's 2017 Consultancy Survey.

The survey, which has been published annually since 1997, is currently open to entries from all consultancy firms with a UK base. The response deadline is 8pm on Wednesday 4 October 2017.

The survey provides key business information on staffing levels and fee income across planning consultancies of all sizes, an assessment of market growth prospects in the sector and a summary of consultants' views on a selection of current planning topics. Last year, 149 firms took part, including most of the market leaders.

All consultants that responded to the 2016 survey were emailed on Monday 4 September, inviting them to respond via an online questionnaire, or a hard copy version if they prefer. Planning also welcomes responses from planning consultancies that did not take part last year.

We have designed the survey to be quick to complete, while still gathering enough information to provide a useful report to the sector. The results will be published in Planning as part of a special report in November.

The survey can be completed online here.
