Mayor unveils plan to use revamped developer levy to raise cash for Crossrail 2

Office developments in central London and the Isle of Dogs would face a charge of £185 per square metre of floorspace from March 2019 under mayoral plans to repurpose the existing pan-London Community Infrastructure Levy to raise funds towards the cost of the Crossrail 2 infrastructure project.
