What's new in DCP Issue 134 (September 2015)

The following details the sections that have been updated as part of the issue 134 (September 2015) revision to DCP.

The sections that have been updated this issue include:
•    Access for all (4.1543) where the role of the planning system in promoting or requiring access for all to developments is discussed.
•    Reversion (4.326) which details the various aspects of planning legislation which give certain rights of reversion to previous uses.
•    Parts 8 – 13 of the GPDO 2015 (4.3427) which gives various bodies permitted development rights to carry out works and operations in connection with their functions. It also gives a permitted development right for the demolition of a building.
•    Limited period conditions (4.414) which looks at the removal of conditions which have been imposed on caravans, chalets, conversions or other dwellings which restrict their use to holiday or other similar non-permanent residential occupation..
•    Removal of holiday occupancy conditions (9.7) which looks at the removal of conditions which have been imposed on caravans, chalets and other dwellings which restrict their use to holiday or other similar non-permanent residential occupation.
•    Multiple occupation (11.2) which deals with the multiple occupation of houses or other premises in the form of bedsits, multiple paying accommodation, house sharing or lodgings.
•    Open storage (21.2) embraces uses which consist of storage on open sites either on the ground or in some form of container or tank.
