Planning Consultancy Survey 2015: Response deadline extended

The 2015 Planning Consultancy Survey is now open for entries from all consultancy firms with a UK base, with an extended response deadline of 8pm on Wednesday 14 October 2015.

The survey, published annually since 1997, provides essential information on staffing levels and fee income across planning consultancies of all sizes, an assessment of market growth prospects in the sector and a summary of consultants’ views on a selection of current planning topics. Last year 237 firms, including most market leaders, completed the survey.

Last month, we emailed questionnaires to contacts at all firms who participated in last year’s survey. If you haven’t received the form, or didn’t take part last year, it can be downloaded and filled in online here.

A printable PDF of the questionnaire, including notes that may help if you are unclear about how to answer any of the questions, can be downloaded here.

We have designed the survey to be flexible enough to allow you to complete it quickly without necessarily filling in every field. However, we do need all respondents to provide basic information on staffing levels.

To ensure accurate and fair representation, all figures supplied will be carefully checked to identify potential discrepancies or errors. We also require responses to be personally vouched for by a named senior member of the firm.

The extended deadline for responses is 8pm (20.00) on Wednesday 14 October 2015.

If you have any queries on the survey, please contact consultant editor Bryan Johnston
