Council begins fresh legal action against 'straw bale house' man

A long-running legal dispute between a Surrey council and a farmer who built a house and hid it behind straw bales in order to circumvent planning rules looks set to return to court after the local authority began contempt of court proceedings following the man's failure to comply with an order to demolish the property.
