Wootton, a member of the Law Society’s planning and environmental law committee, joins Howes Percival from law firm Eversheds, where he was head of the energy and natural resources group.

In a statement, Howes Percival said that Wootton acts for public and private sector clients and has advised on major regeneration projects, including the Olympic Park in east London and the Nine Elms redevelopment in south-west London.

Howes Percival said that Wootton will be based at its Norwich office, but will work across the firm's offices in East Anglia and the East Midlands.

Howes Percival’s former head of planning and environment, Trevor Ivory, joined law firm DLA Piper as partner earlier this year.
