Wind turbine would unacceptably affect aviation safety and ancient woodland

The secretary of state has dismissed a wind turbine in Lincolnshire due to aircraft safety concerns following the possible effect on a military radar station. The very tall structure would be visible over a wide area and tower above an ancient woodland, seriously diminishing its contribution to the local landscape.
