Dualling of carriageway allowed due to public interest benefits

Development consent has been granted for the dualling of an existing single carriageway section of the A30 trunk road for a distance of 4.5 kilometres to the north-east of Bodmin in Cornwall with the secretary of state agreeing with the examining authority's overall conclusion that any disadvantages arising from implementation of the project were outweighed by the public interest benefits.
