Consultation on Changes to Permitted Development Rights for Development by Telecommunications Code Operators

A Scottish Government consultation is seeking views on proposed amendments to the permitted development rights that apply to telecoms development under Classes 67 and 68 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Scotland) Order 1992. The proposals aim to simplify the planning process around the provision of essential broadband and telecoms infrastructure in both urban and rural areas.
