Shadow communities secretary to address National Planning Summit

Shadow communities secretary Hilary Benn and Scotland's planning minister Derek Mackay are among the speakers confirmed to address a conference in London in April.

Benn and Mackay will join other speakers at the National Planning Summit including Aidan Wilkie, deputy director for decentralisation and neighbourhood planning at the Department for Communities and Local Government and Mark Southgate, director of major applications and plans at the Planning Inspectorate.

The inaugural Summit will explore how the planning system can enable and accelerate growth, both locally and nationally.

The summit will be held at the ILEC Conference Centre, London on 1 April. Click here to book your tickets.
