User guide: Explore the new DCP Online results page features

This user guide provides details of the new DCP Online results page features.

Once you have conducted a search on DCP Online you can use any or all of the following features to personalise your search requirements making sure sourcing relevant information based on your search term is quick and easy.

To review how many times your search term features within a DCP chapter look at the Hits Column on the left hand side. The ranking of your results on this page is delivered by the weighting protocols we use including if your search term is in the title, the number of times the term appears in the first paragraph, the size of the section compared to the number of times the term appears within the section.

A breadcrumb trail will also show where your search result lies within the broader DCP chapter. This useful feature allows you to context your search result; also all DCP Online chapters are hyperlinked.

You can also customise the number of results viewed on a single page.

Don’t forget that you can easily switch between the results and content pages:

If you have any questions about the new features contact customer services on or call 01452 835820.
