Additional tips on searching
Exact phrase search
To search for an exact phrase surround the term with inverted commas e.g. "green belt"
AND searches for both terms in the same section e.g. affordable AND housing returns results that contain both the words "affordable" and "housing".
OR searches for topics containing either term in the section, so "wind farms" OR "wind turbines" returns topics containing either the phrase wind farms or wind turbines.
NOT searches for the first term but excludes the second, therefore "housing" NOT "social" returns sections containing only housing and not social. This operator should also be used at the end of any search and should be used rarely.
To search part of a word
Using a ? at the end of your key word will search for the word plus any single letter that form the word (e.g. house? will search house and houses)
Using an * will search for your key word and any number of letters which forms your searched word e.g. hous* will match house, houses and housing.
