How DCP Print is affected by the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF)

The NPPF was published at the end of March. We want to reflect the changes introduced by the guidance as soon as possible in relation to your DCP Print subscription.

Therefore we have created two concordance tables indexing which sections within DCP will be affected. As part of your July issue we will include a schedule of how your manual will be updated during your current subscription year.

Table 1 illustrates the main DCP sections which are impacted by the NPPF. This table includes the DCP chapter number and title that are affected in relation to the paragraphs of the NPPF.

Table 2 lists the NPPF paragraph name and number that has impacted the various sections of DCP.

For those clients who also subscribe to DCP Online please note that we have updated the Editors Notes for the DCP Online section affected. To view these updates simply open Editors Notes (via the button found in the top left of the reading panel) and scroll through to the section covering control practice/national guidance/ministerial advice. For more information, including an example of an updated DCP section in the Editors Notes click here.
