Research organisation the Urban Land Institute has named Joe Montgomery as its new chief executive for Europe.

The Environment Bank, set up to facilitate the delivery of mitigation and compensation schemes associated with planned development, has named Dr Tom Tew as its first chief executive.

Planning and design consultancy Barton Willmore has appointed Alex Wilson and Lauren Taljaard as senior planners.

Neil Jones has been named associate at planning consultancy Rapleys.

Lorraine Baldry has been appointed chair of government-owned property company London & Continental Railways.
