First to Legoland in Windsor, which earlier this month was at the centre of a storm after housing minister Grant Shapps derided the spread of "identikit Legoland housing" across the country. According to the minister, such homes do not encourage a sense of community. His comments were welcomed by large sections of the media, but were criticised by the Home Builders Federation, which accused Shapps of using "emotive" language that did not reflect what developers were building.
