Planning, 22 August 2008
The Court of Appeal has supported a High Court judge in rejecting a parish council's challenge to Breckland Council's grant of planning permission for the conversion of a building into a hemp processing plant.
Lord Justice Buxton decided that the planning application had been carefully considered before being granted permission subject to a variety of conditions. He found that the parish council and local residents had been given adequate opportunity to make their objections known and the council had given adequate reasons for its decision.
